The host family cooked nice dishes for me
during the stay.
Here are just part of them.
Also, I was impressed with the illumination for
the family alter and the building.
- We went to the local market almost every day because they didn’t have a fridge.
- A meat shop in the market.
- We bought two big fishes from the fish shop in the market.
- After going back to the home, I helped they grill the fishes.
- I took out the guts and stuffed with plenty of lemon grass before dredging in salt.
- We had this kind of treat every day.
- Sometimes they made fresh spring rolls, which was quite addictive.
- The stir-fried blood tofe and sprouts was also delish.
- The left is stir-fried shells and chopped lemon grass, which is popular dish in Cambodia.
- During the Khmer New Year, you will see a lot of illumination on many buildings.
- Their family alter was also illuminated beautifully.
- The local bank near the house was also decorated with illumination.
