Preah Sihanouk is gradually becoming famous worldwide
as a nice beach resort.
I visited the place to enjoy such beautiful beaches
and fresh seafood.
- At the bus terminal next to the Night Market in Phnom Penh, I caught the night bus departing at 1:30 am.
- From this bus station, you can go to many destinations including Siem Reap, Bangkok, etc.
- Although the ticket fee of $9 is slightly more expensive than other bus companies, the seat is long enough to sleep comfortably.
- I arrived at Preah Sihanouk early in the morning, but had to wait till noon to check in the hotel.
- In the restaurant near Serendipity beach, I could enjoy the grilled squid, prawn, barracuda with chips, salad and beer with $3.5.
- At night we went to the popular Japanese restaurant: Kukai.
- Although they have a lot of dishes, I wanted to try fresh local sashimi.
- Unfortunately, the sashimi was sold out so I decided to go to another restaurant.
- Cafe Sushi is also famous Japanese restaurant in Preah Sihanouk.
- They have the bar counter too.
- There is a variety of choice for tea.
- Their sushi is famous for using fresh local seafood.
- The green tea came with the pot.
- The crazy roll was $6 and you can enjoy quite a few types of fish.
- Take (middle class) sushi was 8$ and came with miso soup and salad. They use a lot of local ingredients, which satisfied me.
